It was a more peaceful day here in Planica, with less accidents than yesterday and many smiles. After an amazing comeback from his knee injury, Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT) won another competition with a total of 450.9 points, 219.0 and 226.0 m jumps. Second came Thomas Morgenstern (AUT) with 448.1 points, 217.5 m and 224 m jumps. Third was Martin Koch (AUT) with 433.8 points, 210.0 m and 222.5 m jumps.
Man of the day was Anders Bardal who finished 5th.
Somehow I feel that this weekend the battle is between Andreas Kofler who is 3rd in the World Cup standings and Adam Malysz who is 4th, but only with 27 points behind the Austrian. So which one of them will be on the podium Sunday?
